In cases where the recipient is not home, they will try to leave the bouquet with a neighbour or in a safe and secure location at the delivery address. This ensures that the flowers can still be enjoyed, even if the recipient is not present at the time of delivery.
Return and Alternative Delivery:
If there is no safe place available to leave the flowers, the bouquet will be taken back to the flower shop or courier depot. From there, a note will be left to the recipient for them to pick it up later at their convenience. It's important to note that while we make every effort to maintain the freshness of the flowers, we cannot guarantee their freshness in such cases.
Avoiding Missed Deliveries:
To prevent missed deliveries, we recommend sending the Track & Trace link to the recipient for courier delivered flowers. This allows them to adjust the delivery time themselves if they won't be home to receive the package.
Additionally, you can check if there's an option to change the delivery on the tracking page of the courier service. The tracking page link can be found in the email you received from the courier service.
Alternatively for florist orders, you can specify your delivery preferences in the "Comments for the florist" field during checkout.
