Yes, you can write a greeting that comes with the bouquet on a card.
Here's how
When you place your order there's a field for the card message. Write your greeting there. The text can be up to 200 characters.
Keep this in mind
- Write your name. Otherwise the recipient won't know who the flowers are from. If you'd rather stay anonymous, that's fine too – see the article below.
- Use letters and numbers only. The card message can only contain the letters a–å and numbers. Emojis and special characters aren't blocked at checkout, but they won't come through on the card – the text may end up incomplete or the characters may be replaced with question marks. So stick to ordinary letters and numbers.
- Read it through before you pay. Right after you've placed your order you'll often have a short window to change the text. If that window has passed, get in touch with us and we'll help you if we can. The closer it gets to the delivery date, the harder it is to make a change in time.
What does the card look like?
The card message is usually printed on a card that comes with the bouquet. If you choose a premium card, or order flowers for a funeral, the florist often writes the card by hand.
Text on funeral ribbons
If you're ordering ribbons for a funeral wreath or bouquet – keep the text short. Long texts are hard to fit on the ribbon and the result may not look as good.
